Employment Services Program
All mental health consumers who are in Employment Services (ES) are assigned an ES staff member who assists them with goal setting and all related employment issues. One aspect of Employment Services is the Work Experience Program (WEP). WEP has levels of support that are tailored to the needs of the consumers.
Level I -This is an enclave type program due to the level of support offered. The program consists of cleaning crews that work at several community businesses. The goal is for the level to be transitional.
Level II - This level is consistent with supported employment. It provides the consumers with a much greater level of independence than Level I.
Level III – For consumers in the program who are independently employed in the community. The ES staff also assist consumers when working with the Rehabilitation Services Commission.
