Victims Services
Behavioral Connections offers Victims Services programs which provide free services to victims of crime and are accessible 24-hours-a-day by calling The Link Hotline (419.352.1545 or 1.800.472.9411).
Services:
Paid staff and volunteer victim advocates provide crisis intervention, emotional support, safety planning, and medical and legal advocacy as well as referrals for sexual assault, stalking and dating/domestic victims. Advocates meet with victims at the hospital, police station, The Link, or any other neutral setting. Contact with the victim is maintained for as long as needed. In addition, support groups for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault are offered in Bowling Green and Perrysburg. All services are free.
These services are available 24-hours a day by calling The Link Hotline at 419.352.1545 or 1.800.472.9411 and asking to speak with an advocate.
Confidentiality of all persons seeking services is assured and clients can remain anonymous if desired. Victims Services works primarily with adults but also provides assistance to teens who have been sexually assaulted by acquaintances (friends, dates, etc.) or abused in a dating relationship. Family members and friends of sexual assault and domestic violence victims are also encouraged to call Victims Services for assistance.
